This Section is responsible for maintenance and repair of all University buildings/facilities. This includes electrical and mechanical systems, telecommunications systems, special equipment, copiers and other office machines, vehicles. It also provides equipment such as furnishings, telephone systems, air-conditioning units, etc., and maintains University grounds.
The Section believes in preventative maintenance, and has contracted companies to regularly check equipment. It responds quickly to any problem brought to its attention, and at present can be reached through Helpdesk, 22-894400. The Sector will soon install an internet service whereby repair questions and requests can be tracked.
