Turkish Cypriots: Social Psychological Perspectives on Contact and Identities

The Cyprus Association of Social Psychology cordially invites you to a

conference exploring the role of contact and national identities in relation

to intergroup relations

between Greek-Cypriots and Turkish-Cypriots. Social Psychologists will

present

theoretical and empirical papers on recent advances in the field of

Intergroup Contact

Theory and a discussion will follow with the public. A keynote address will

be given by

the leading figure in the field of intergroup theory, Professor Miles

Hewstone, Director of

the Oxford Center for the study of Intergroup Conflict, at the Department of

Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford.
