The most common way of getting to Paros is on a ferry boat. One of our sponsors, BLUE STAR FERRIES, is kindly supporting our Workshop with a 30% discount on the ferry-boat tickets of our speakers (to go and return).
It takes about 4 hours for the ferry boat to reach the port of Paros from Piraeus (the port of Athens). There are boats of Blue Star Ferries departing daily from Piraeus at 7:25 (arriving at Paros at 11:40) and at 17:30 (arriving at 21:45). The ticket to Paros (always one-way) costs about 32 euros.
The Blue Star Ferries are located opposite the Piraeus Subway Terminal building (Stathmos Ilektrikou Piraios) across the main street.
The easiest way to get to the port of Piraeus from Athens International Airport is by bus, Service X96 (price of bus ticket: 5 euros). You can get a ticket for the bus from the ticket point/kiosk outside the Arrivals Building, where the bus station is also located. The directions to the bus station are sign-posted both inside and outside the Arrivals Building.
There is a bus stop (for Service X96) outside the Piraeus Subway Terminal building. You can ask the bus driver to let you off at the Stathmos Ilektrikou Piraios.
