Marianna Christodoulou

Marianna earned her undergraduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Maryland, Maryland, USA and her Master's degree from NOVA Southeastern University, Florida, USA. She is currently a first year doctorate student at the University of Cyprus in the Department of Psychology. Her research interests involve the neural underpinnings of language and cognitive processing both in normal and disordered adult brains. She is particularly interested in how changes in brain functioning can affect these processes and possible intervention techniques that can be implemented to achieve cognitive recovery after cerebral insult.

Panayiota Shoshilou

Panayiota has earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Cyprus and her Master of Research in Cognition and Neuroscience at Birmingham University, UK. Since fall 2009 she is enrolled in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at the University of Cyprus. Her research interests involve rhythm perception and the brain, brain damage caused by substance abuse, ERP brain imaging and other selected issues in the areas of affective and social neuroscience.

Despina Themistocleous

Despina Themistocleous is currently a second year postgraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus, and is expected to graduate in 2011. She is presently working on a research program exploring pediatric epilepsy and neuropsychological performance and is also involved in the Cognitive Study for the Aging, both taking place in the Neuro Cognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Vaso Theofanous

Vaso Theofanous is currently a first year postgraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus, and is expected to graduate in 2012. She is presently working on a research program investigating Cognitive impairment and dementia factors in elderly populations in the NeuroCognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Christina Charilaou

Christina Charilaou is currently a fourth year undergraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus, and is expected to graduate in 2010. She is presently working on a research program investigating cognitive impairment and dementia factors in elderly populations in the Neuro Cognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Andrea Makri

Andrea Makri has earned her first degree in Psychology from the University of Cyprus and she is enrolled since winter semester 2010 in the Masters program in School Psychology at the University of Cyprus. She is presently working on a research program exploring pediatric epilepsy and neuropsychological performance in the Neuro Cognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Juliana Prokopiou

Juliana has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She has also completed her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialty in Vocational Rehabilitation from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. She is currently a second year postgraduate student at the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus.Her research interests include neurocognitive rehabilitation of both TBI patients and adults with neurological disorders including CVA. She is particularly interested in the recovery of function and outcomes after a comprehensive rehabilitation model including vocational reahabilitation and its implementation within the Cyprus population.

Georgia Sotiriou

Georgia Sotiriou is currently a third year undergraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus, and is expected to graduate in 2012. She is presently working on a research program investigating cognitive impairment and dementia factors in elderly populations in the Neuro Cognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Marina Hadjichristou has earned her first degree from the University of Stirling in Scotland. From the fall semester of 2009 she enrolled in the Master degree in School Psychology and she is expected to graduate in 2012. She is currently working on a research program investigating cognitive impairment and dementia factors in elderly populations in the NeuroCognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.

Chrystalla Moiseos – Mellish

Chrystalla Moiseos – Mellish is currently a fourth year undergraduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cyprus, and is expected to graduate in 2010. She is presently working on a research program investigating cognitive impairment and dementia factors in elderly populations in the Neurocognitive Research Laboratory at the University of Cyprus under the supervision of Dr Fofi Constantinidou.
