The Office ensures the smooth operation of the information systems of the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare services by providing operational and technical support.
1. Banner Student System support
Provides application-related operational and technical support to end users of the Banner Student System. The office is also responsible for the system infrastructure administration.
2. BannerWeb
Access to the web modules Self-Service for Students and Self-Service for Faculty have the students and Academic staff of the University of Cyprus respectively. Click here for BannerWeb user guides.
3. Software Applications development and support
The Information System Office undertakes the analysis, development and deployment of new software applications. The in-House developed applications are:
  • Banner Reports
  • Examination Scheduling
  • European prospective students applications and seat allocation
  • Special Criteria admission applications and seat allocation
  • Student Housing applications and room allocation
  • Student Financial Aid applications evaluation
  • Translations
  • Trasnfer Students
4. Ad-hoc statistical reports
  • Undertakes the analysis and development of statistical reports requested by the various Departments and Services of the University of Cyprus, Ministries and Government Departments.
5. Technical Support
Provides technical and functional support to end users (personal computer and printer).
